The Spaghetti Ice Cream Company announced today the establishment of a joint venture to bring their popular Spaghetti Ice Cream Maker� to television.

The Spaghetti Ice Cream Company (Fort Worth, Texas) announced today that the companies' popular and new product, The Spaghetti Ice Cream Maker� has been chosen by MediaCorp Worldwide (MCW) to participate in its' joint venture, direct response television marketing program.
MediaCorp will produce and air a short format "infomercial" to begin marketing the product in select areas. As part of the joint venture agreement, MCW will establish and maintain an 800 number staffed by 24 hour operators to support sales of the product. They will also handle all credit-card processing, collecting and shipping to the end user.
Production of the infomercial is set to take place this month, with the first ads scheduled to be hitting the airwaves in early December 2003.
Michael Coviello, president of the Spaghetti Ice Cream Company states that: "Television has proven itself to be a highly effective means "leveling the playing field" for smaller companies bringing innovative new products into the marketplace" and we are confident that this agreement will help us in our goal of gaining additional visibility for our unique products and for our brand. (The companies' products are used to make desserts such as Spaghetti Ice Cream, which is an extremely popular dessert in many parts of Europe, but which is not as well known in the US).
Their joint venture partner, MediaCorp Worldwide has a well-established history of bringing new products to market. Products such as 'Quick 10,' 'The Salad Blaster' and 'The Rolling Styler�" have utilized MediaCorp's expertise to take them from unknown, innovative new products to worldwide distribution. MediaCorp Worldwide has also turned the brand recognition generated through television campaigns into highly coveted spots on shelves of national retail chains. MediaCorp's network of sales representatives, located throughout the United States and Canada, have direct access to buyers from major specialty stores and mass merchandisers from coast to coast.
